A rare Ming 15th century blue and white jar with cover, rounded side with globular body and unglazed base, jar decorated with fine under glaze blue of continuous peony flower motif at the belly, upper and lower parts with continuous ruyi cloud pattern motif, cover also decorated with under glaze blue of continuous peony flower motif.
Jar and cover is in good condition with crack line on the jar body, no chip, no restoration, cover no damage, rare to find this type of jar also still complete with the cover.
Size: 11 cm diameter, 8.5 cm height.
