A very large size Tampan ceremonial cloth or well known as Ship cloth from Lampung south sumatra Indonesia, decorated with a very large mythical animal motif in blue and red colors, this cloth used for ceremonial occasion such as marriage, initiation in to adult hood, birth or death ceremonies, the production of this cloth has been stop since early 20th century. late 19th to early 20th century cloth. Very Good condition with small holes re-stitched, fine condition for a more than 100 years old textile. Size: 101 cm x 81 cm or 39.5 inch x 31.5 inch |
