A Ming dynasty 15th century Hongzhi - Zhengde blue and white meiping with cover, rounded side with spreading neck and flares stepped edge foot, base is unglazed, decorated with under glaze blue of flower scroll motif at the body, shoulder with lotus spray motif in four radiating panel, cover with leaves and ruyi cloud motif.
Meiping is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, slightly tilt to one side, complete with cover, very rare to find a meiping still complete with the cover, very good piece for any collector.
Size: 27.5 cm height.
