Good shards sample of Yuan dynasty qingbai double gourd dragon ewer, shards is decorated with bluish white qingbai glaze, handle decorated with dragon form, body with molded flower motif, and spout with phoenix head. this large shards is very good for studying and comparison for any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain, newly excavated from east java. Ewer is broken as its found, lower gourd body is intact, upper gourd been broken and restored some missing part specially on the rim, handle and spout also broken and re-attach. Size: 24 cm height. |
