A good early Ming dynasty 15th century Chenghua - Hongzhi period blue and white large dish, rounded side with raising rim and glazed base, dish decorated with fine under glaze blue of flower lotus scroll motif at inner wall, center with flower and rocks motif, outer wall also with flower scroll motif. Dish is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration. Size: 32.5 cm diameter.
