Ancient bronze food container dating from the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD). With a domed cover with loop handles. When inverted the cover becomes a tripod dish.
H. 15 cm, Diameter 21,5 cm.
Condition: Good condition with excellent verdegris and lapis patina.

Finely cast, with traces of gilding. H. 20 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Collection number on the back. Condition: age cracks and some old damage to the headdress. From a Dutch private collection.
This type of necklace with a pendant in the shape of a lock was given to Chinese children, so they would be ‘locked’ to life.
