Made of pottery with purple and turquoise glaze, red and black pigments. The figures 19,5 cm tall, the sedan chair 22,5 cm tall (including the detachable roof knob). This group was excavated in the southeast of the Shanxi Province. It is very hard to find big groups like this. Red pottery moulded figure, glazed in turquoise, amber and black. On the back of his stool there is a coin symbol ( god of wealth?). H. 20 cm. Overall in very good condition with wear and flaking to the glaze and a chip at the back of his right arm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
