Hasegawa Yoshihisa's work was exhibited and prized at the Nitten, Kofukai-ten, Nihon Gendai Kogei Ten (National Modern Craft Exhibition) and Shin Gokei Ten (National New Crafts Exhibition) and received a top prize at the Yamagata Ken-ten in 1966. His works were purchased by the ministry of foreign affairs as gifts to foreign dignitaries and his work was exhibited worldwide.
