| Japan. 1950-1970. " Lovely vintage orange almost crepe silk with great floral motifs in many colors. This piece is unique in that it has been prepped to be "recycled". In the past, when someone could not afford a new kimono they would re-dye the ones that they had. In this case there are shadowy outlines of a new pattern on the reverse side of this fabric. Some of these lines show through a bit in the white areas of the panel." Very good condition. 13.5" x 59" | ||
