| Japan. 1927-1939. The basic silk rinzu (damask) fabric of this haori has been prominently patterned with yuzen-dyed fan motifs. The fan is an old Japanese motif that represents - with it's folding and unfolding - an auspicious omen for the "unfolding" of the future. Very good condition, with minor small patina, stains and fraying. 49" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 39" height. | ||
