Interested in antiquities but can't afford most pieces? Coins are a great way to start! This group mostly dates to the Roman Empire circa 2nd-4th Centuries A.D. with the stray earlier Greek & Celtic or later Islamic coin in the mix. Cleaning instructions are available if needed, but no special implements are required -- for most coins, hot soapy water and an old toothbrush is all you need. Note that these make GREAT projects for kids as well!
