Affordable Pre-Columbian Jalisco Bowl, West Mexico
This choice little bowl dates to the height of the Jalisco civilization, whose name comes from the modern-day Mexican state in which it was centered. The west Mexican societies, including the Jalisco, Colima, and Nayarit, did not produce large-scale buildings or monuments, but they did produce a legacy of fine ceramics and pottery items as is evidenced by this nice little bowl!

AGE: Ca. 300 B.C. to 300 A.D.

CONDITION: One large rim fragment has been repaired; otherwise, choice with no restoration.

DIMENSIONS: About 4" in diameter
