Choice Holy Land Terracotta Cup, Bronze Age
This nice, utilitarian cup, sometimes called a "dipper" cup or mug, is typical of what would have been used in the average home in the Holy Land almost 5000 years ago. Most cups of this type are found in the vicinity of ancient Jericho, and this piece has an old collection number (932) penned on the underside.

AGE: Bronze Age, ca. 3100-2900 B.C.

CONDITION: Quite nice with only some minor chipping as pictured.

DIMENSIONS: About 3.5" tall
