We are offering in the recently fired Ogawa Machiko works two red vessels like the one seen in the fabulous 'Contemporary Clay-Japanese Ceramics for the New Century' shown in New York at The Japan Society from Sept 29, 2006-Jan.21, 2007. A photo of the Ogawa piece from the exhibition catalog is shown in the other Ogawa red vessel listing, and another image of the same work appears in the new book 'Breaking The Mould.'. This similar vessel is the larger of the two we have and measures 20.5cm.tallx34.5.5x30.5; also a museum piece from one of Japan's most important contemporary women clay artists.
