In 1990 I visited Yoshimoto Shuho in Bizen and saw this deluxe book (Showa Bizen Meihin Zukan); I knew then and there I had to have it and the next day I called the publisher and ordered one. It has proved to be a great resource on Bizen pottery of the Showa period(1926-1988). Here is a pristine copy of that book (not mine of course) that shows 108 potters and their works each with a two-page color spread; it also shows 18 deceased potters who worked in the Showa period and those include all LNT's of the time. The book also has most potter's marks used to sign works, as well as additional listings for dozen of potters also showing marks and history, no photos here though. All in Japanese only, including the history of Showa Bizen, association listings, list of foreign apprentices, supply information and other detailed information. In perfect condition with a green cloth slip cover, cardboard outer box, 415 pages and is edition 524 out of 1,400, published by Okayama Nichinichi Newspaper Publishing Company, 1989; 50,000 yen list price at the time. EMS postage is included in the price.
