| This superbly fired and mu-ly formed Bizen vase is by living legend Mori Togaku and dates to 1975, the only year Mori signed his works with a M, seen on the side and base. It has a rich 'clay flavor' in dark rusty red and crispy browns with great stone bursts--ishihaze--seen all about. It has an intense energy to it in its simplicity; only Mori, Harada and Abe are capable of this. In perfect condition with a signed box, 25.5cm.tall, a museum piece. | ||||||||||||
