It's been quite awhile since a 3rd O-gama (large kiln) firing Mori Togaku guinomi found its way to our gallery. On March 17th, 1994 was the lighting ceremony and the kiln was fired continuously 24-7 until May 11th. The unloading of the kiln began on June 3rd. This is surely one of the best guinomi from that firing; carefully loaded so goma circled the lip and then fell like snow inside, it has a fantastic form for holding and drinking from, as well as superb 'clay flavor' that only Mori can achieve. A museum piece in perfect condition with a signed box, 4.5cm.tallx7x6.1, stamped on base.
