Here I have to offer a wonderful Rare hard plastic baby doll made by the American Character Doll Company in the 1950s. This doll's face is very similar to the popular Bye-Lo baby of the 1930s and is probably American Character's take on it. This doll is an impressive19in tall, on its Original pink cloth body, with perfect hard plastic hands, perfect face with sleep brown eyes, full lashes, and beautiful vibrant face color. She is wearing her Original baby gown, full slip, and Original matching bonnet. The clothes have never been off her and still feel like new and have no holes, rips, tears, although on one side of body there is an age stain which you can see in the photo, also lightly in the back. But this does not distract from look of the doll. Her adorable face says it all. If you collect baby dolls, or Bye-Lo's, she would be an interesting doll to add to your collection. First one I have ever seen by the American Character Doll Co.
