Here I have a really nice Simon & Halbig #739 in the hard to find white bisque face. She is 17” tall, and has a socket head with swivel neck on bisque shoulder plate, gusseted kid body, bisque lower arms, perfect articulated fingers. Her face is just adorable with brown paper weight eyes, painted brows and lashes, open mouth with four upper teeth, the cutest pudgy cheeks, pierced ears and a dimple in her chin. She is marked S9H, 739, DEP on neck.
She has been appropriately redressed, and wig replaced. She has no hairlines, cracks, chips, or repairs and is damage free. The line on the side of her eye is a stray hair. Her only flaw is her bottom legs (see photo). Her knee joints had been repaired when I bought her many years ago and they were fine. But while being on the stand so long (poor thing) she must have slid down on the joints bearing the body weight and bending and turning the bottom legs a bit, thus opening up the repair and making the leg leak a little sawdust. The leg needs to be straightened and repaired again. That's not my thing. Or you can just get another body for her. This Simon & Halbig #739 is a Very Desirable face and not just a run of the mill doll, especially in the white face. And she does have the cutest face, which Simon and Halbig is known for. I am selling her as is, and at a good price , so she would be worth the effort.
