These small cloth dolls with wire armatures were designed by Alma LeBlanc and made in San Francisco in the 1940's. They are 4" tall and have molded, lead feet so they can stand alone. The legs and arms are covered with floss , and the hands are felt. The faces are hand painted cloth and they have mohair wigs. Sometime the dolls name is stamped on the bottom of their feet, and this dolls name is stamped Honey. The dolls come in boxes that are blue cardboard with a clear acetate cover. This box is in excellent condition and has no splits. Honey is All Original and Mint in Her Original Box, and comes with the small Original Brochure included in the box. Box has some minor wear on tip of each corner of box. She is such a cute miniature doll, in MIB condition, and worthy to be of any doll collection. She comes from a smoke free home.
