A color lithograph print of the year 1937, signed in the plate, 13 1/2" by 10 1/2" (20 1/4" by 17 1/2" in wood frame, no mat), by the noted Spanish modern artist FRANCISCO BORES LOPEZ (1898-1972). The artist, more commonly known as Francisco Bores, was born in Madrid. He went to Paris and associated with the Surrealist movement, and became a friend of important artist Juan Gris. Bores is known for his abstracted figural, landscape and still life works, some of which achieved over $300,000 at the market peak of 2007. This print is in generally good condition though I note a slight hairline scratch in the blue at far left. The frame has some wear.
