These earrings are very well made: an indicator of the fine Hobe work. The overlapping petals have nice stamp work around the bezel-set, turquoise, glass cabochon. The earrings are both clipback and screwback. They are gold plated and marked Hobe. They are in excellent condition.
This elegant depiction of a Wiener Dog is c. late 1940’s. The sterling silver vermeil and marcasites compliment the beautiful ropetwist, open wirework of the body. The ear is set with marcasites, as is the eye. The back is marked “ALICE CAVINESS” and “STERLING GERMANY” on applied plaques. The pin measures 2” (from snout to tail) x 1/2". This wonderful piece is in excellent condition.

These interesting earrings dangle just over 1". They are lucite "globes." The shiny, silver tone, decorative, screwback findings are "drilled" into the globe drops and are enhanced by a sparkling, crackle design in the middle.
