These dainty, clipback earrings are another fine example of the basse-taille enamel work of David-Andersen. The shiny vermeil accentuates the lovely, pearly white leaves that encircle each other on each earring. This great pendant / medallion has a great modernist design. It is a concave and convex disk with a radius of 2 inches. It hangs 13" from a link chain. The back is marked PEWTER Jorgen Jensen (in his script hallmark) HANDMADE DENMARK 158.
It has the characteristic Scandinavian style and is in excellent condition.

This modernist, teardrop-shaped brooch measures just over 1 3/4" x 1" (at widest point). It is concave and incised with 3 line borders. The back is hallmarked GD & Co (for Gustav Dahlgren & Co.), M (city mark for Malmo), then has the Swedish triple cown hallmark, S (in hexagon, indicating 830 silver or higher) and K9 for 1960. The back is also signed (what looks like) Gillaron in script.
This lovely pin / brooch measures 1 1/4" x 3/4" x 3/8". The back is marked 925S, S.C.F. DENMARK (for S.Christian Fogh from Copenhagen). It is a fine pin and has some heft. It is in excellent condition.
These lovely, silver, clipback earrings have a leafy design. They are by Danish silversmith John Lauritzen, (JOHN L), who worked during the 1950s. His pieces are very hard to come by and well collected.

This fine pin, with its deep, dark yellow, palmate leaves is by Norwegian silversmith Bernard Meldah. It is sterling vermeil with basse-taille enamel and measures 1 3/4” x 1 3/4”. It has a C-catch and is marked “925 S STERLING” “MB” (superimposed, Meldah’s maker’s mark) and “MADE IN NORWAY.” This piece is in excellent condition.
This wonderful bracelet c. mid-1940’s was made by Andersen & Scheinpflug, a David Andersen company of Oslo, Norway. Pieces by this manufacturer are hard to find. The bracelet’s links feature the traditional Scandinavian beauty of enamel and silver along with Nordic motifs (Vikings, snowy landscapes, etc).
