This fine piece is made of silver, with a gold wash: vermeil. It is a brooch and pendant measuring 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". The large, Eilat stone, a gemstone, has great color, is bezel set and measures 1 1/2" x 1" x 1/8". The back is marked SILVER with the Hebrew letters meaning "silver" that sound like "kesef" in English, (from right to left kaf, samech, feh). The are a couple of other hallmarks beneath. This piece has good heft: 1 ounce / 28 grams. It is in great condition. The Eilat stone is a gemstone, characterized by its lovely mixture of blues and greens. It is the national stone of Israel and known as the King Solomon stone.
