These dainty, clipback earrings are another fine example of the basse-taille enamel work of David-Andersen. The shiny vermeil accentuates the lovely, pearly white leaves that encircle each other on each earring. Both earrings are marked with the David-Andersen hallmarks: the pair of scales, D-A 925 S STERLING NORWAY, with the designer's mark (W inside a circle). (The clipback findings are marked METALL on the outside of the clip.) The earrings measure just under 3/4" x just over 1/2" and are in fine condition.
