| This beautiful pin / brooch by Askel Holmsen has a diameter of 1 1/8". It is sterling vermeil with vivid, yellow enamel (basse-taille or guilloche) with a great design. The back is marked NORWAY STERLING, the Holmsen maker's mark / hallmark NORWAY STERLING 925 S,” and has the Holmsen maker’s mark which looks like 2 interlocking, horizontal V's: the are actually 2 overlapping silversmith tools. The brooch has a C-catch and a diameter of 1”. It is in superb condition. c 1950s | ||
