California residents must pay 8 1/4% sales tax unless they provide a valid resale permit.
Item descriptions: All items are described as accurately as possible. Physical condition, especially flaws and repairs will be described. Please ask questions before buying if there is any uncertainty. Please note that I try to err on the conservative side when stating the age of a piece of jewelry. Please do not hesitate to call or email with questions, or to request more photos.
Returns: My descriptions are as accurate as I can make them, but (gasp) mistakes do happen. If an item has been misrepresented, you may return it subject to the following: you must contact me within three days of receipt; I must receive the item within one week of that contact; and the item must be received in the condition in which it was originally sent, as shown by my photo file. No refunds will be issued for items that have been altered or damaged in any way. Returns charged to a credit card or Paypal incur a 3% restocking fee.
Shipping: I ship all items by Parcel Post or Express mail, with insurance and delivery confirmation. Please let me know immediately if your package is damaged, and be sure to preserve all boxes and shipping materials for post office inspection. All packages shipped to addresses outside the United States will bear appropriate customs declarations. I am sorry, but due to U.S. Customs regulations and tariffs, I am unable to offer refund privileges to overseas clients. The buyer pays for shipping, insurance, delivery confirmation, and a minimal handling charge.
Layaway: Clients may request layaways for purchases that total $200 or more. An initial non-refundable deposit equal to 1/3 of the sales price, including tax and shipping, is due immediately to secure the layaway. The final payment is due in 90 days for items under $2000. For more expensive items, the length of the layaway period can be negotiated. In the event that the final payment is not received within 90 days (or the agreed upon time specified in the layaway contract), all payments, including the initial deposit, are non-refundable and the item(s) will be offered for sale to other clients. Items on layaway may not be returned for any reason.
Your Responsibility: Inspect all descriptions and photographs carefully. I describe things as accurately as possible, and I am not responsible for any disappointment resulting from your failure to look at the pictures and/or ask questions. Do Ask Questions! I'm always happy to have a dialogue about the jewels offered for sale.
