This lovely Art Nouveau hand mirror holds a 5" beveled mirror. The back is patterned with a water lily and cat-tail design. The mirror is monogrammed "M" and is slightly loose in frame. It is silver plate, and as the photos show, there is wearing away of the plate. Circa 1900.

This lovely sterling brush has a marquise-shaped porcelain insert with a blue and white Dutch windmill scene. It was manufactured by the Alvin Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island. This company, currently a division of Gorham, was founded in 1886 and was known for its sterling flatware, hollow ware, toilet ware, and novelties. The brush bears two marks for the company along with STERLING, 250 C, and Pat app for.

A lovely Art Nouveau sterling clothes brush, 5 1/2" X 3/4". It is marked F & B for the Theo. W. Foster & Bro. Company of Providence RI. The company was incorporated under that name in 1898 and was among the largest manufacturers of jewelry & sterling silver vanity goods in the Art Nouveau period. Circa 1900-1910.
