He is 14 k gold with green eyes and a diamond in his mouth. They eyes are emerald or glass--they're too small to really tell. His head is 1/2" x 5/8" and the overall length of the stickpin is 2 3/4". This Victorian pin is a gorgeous Egyptian Revival design rendered in gilded silver and plique a jour. The wings are yellow-green plique shading to burnt orange. Wing tops are opaque enamel in yellowish green. The pin is centered with a matching stone which is to date [and probably forever] unidentified. It is not peridot, nor is it glass. The pin is 2" across and is circa 1880.

This simple but lovely ring is a plain 12k gold band set with four oval Persian turquoise cabochons and six small pearls. All are dogtooth prong set. The turquoises are 5 X 2 mm, and the pearls 1.5 mm in diameter. The ring is marked with two small square stamps which are too small to read. Size 6

Truly fit for a museum, this rare and wonderful Egyptian Revival pin has a portrait painted on porcelain. It is mounted in 800 silver and surrounded by 16 coral beads on wire. There have been some repairs [not visible from the front] as is so common in jewelry repaired in the 19th century. 1 1/4" diameter. Circa 1875.
