Truly fit for a museum, this rare and wonderful Egyptian Revival pin has a portrait painted on porcelain. It is mounted in 800 silver and surrounded by 16 coral beads on wire. There have been some repairs [not visible from the front] as is so common in jewelry repaired in the 19th century. 1 1/4" diameter. Circa 1875.

This beautiful lavaliere is made of 15 ct gold set with garnets and seed pearls. A central garnet centers the chain, supporting the 1" lavaliere. The necklace is 15" long, and the main pendant just over 1". Maker's mark NBs. Circa 1900.

This charming brooch is so sweet, a must-have piece for the collector of plique a jour, angels, or cherubs. Two loving angels are 900 silver smile with subtly graded mauve pliquea jour wings. The brooch is 1 3/4" by 1" and the plique is in very good shape. The piece is marked 900 silver and Déposé.

Snake rings are deservedly popular, and this is absolutely the most stunning one ever, and it comes with anecdotal provenance. The charming little snake is made of 18 k gold and has ruby eyes. The enamel work is gorgeous. Marked for 18 k gold, and French origin. Size 6 3/4

A trio of iris blossoms ornaments this gorgeous sterling Art Nouveau purse. It is 4 1/2" x 7" and is marked 925, sterling, pat Feb. 18, 1902. It also has a star punch, which was a trademark of James E. Blake, one of the pioneer silversmiths of Attleboro and may indicate that it was made by that company.

A classically Victorian design, this pin is silver, pave set with cabochon turquoises. The bow is flanked by turquoise-set flowers and suspends a heart set with 13 more turquoises. The heart is articulated to move as the wearer moves. 1" X 1 1/4". Circa 1870-1880.

The 7 1/4" bracelet is sterling links. Seventeen heart charms, eight sterling, the others silver plate, hang from the chain. There are padlocks, puffy hearts, plain and flowered hearts--it's a lovely collection. There is a maker's mark for GJ Ltd. The bracelet dates from the 1950s.

These elegant 14 k gold earrings are set with garnet cabochons. The bezel settings have closed, patterned backs. They are Georgian in age and are 3/4" long. Picture 4 shows the lovely detail on the back side of each earring. Gotta love the workmanship characteristic of antique jewelry!

Five oval coral cabochons top this Victorian ring. It is hallmarked for marked 9 ct gold, Chester, England, and 1892. However, the stones are set in 14 k gold. The shank is a replacement. Size 7.

This Victorian signet ring is made of 9 ct gold and is both signed and hallmarked. The maker's mark is T&S. The hallmarks show that it is English and 9 carat gold and was made in Chester in the year 1878. The ring is a size 6 and can be resized.
