Truly fit for a museum, this rare and wonderful Egyptian Revival pin has a portrait painted on porcelain. It is mounted in 800 silver and surrounded by 16 coral beads on wire. Here is a lovely set, necklace with two pairs of earrings, in sterling silver with tropical scenes made of butterfly wing. The two pairs of earrings are button and dangle, and the oblong silver pendant mounting holds a lovely oval tropical beach scene. The silver chain is 18" long, and for some reason has a 12 k white gold clasp. [Sometimes I don't understand people.] The exact age is unknown, but painted butterfly wing jewelry was popular from the 30s through the 50s.

A lovely Art Nouveau sterling clothes brush, 5 1/2" X 3/4". It is marked F & B for the Theo. W. Foster & Bro. Company of Providence RI. The company was incorporated under that name in 1898 and was among the largest manufacturers of jewelry & sterling silver vanity goods in the Art Nouveau period. Circa 1900-1910.

This lovely example of English Arts & Crafts enamel is hallmarked and carries a maker's mark of SB. It is sterling silver with blue and green enamel. The enamel portion is 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" and the chain is 18" long. Hallmarks indicate that it was made in Chester in 1918-19.
