An unusual and rare three legged mythical beast. This is probably the prelude to the three legged frog that lives on the moon. Age: Han Dynasty 206 BC to 220 AD Size: L. 15.5cm. W. 10.5cm Condition: Some chips on the glaze fulled in and a small tip of the crown broken. See last photo.

A Rare Green glazed pair of Foo Lions joss stick holders from the Ming Dynasty. Joss sticks are incense on sticks and burned in religious ceremonies usually placed along side of Buddha. Size: H. 13.2cm. Condition: No repairs. Some minor small chips due to age.

A authentic rare pottery figure with the original colored pigments of a lady with a musical instrument wearing a garment comprised of a long-sleeved top and a long full skirt that falls around her kneeling form. Her hair is styled high to the left of her head in a beautifully complex upswept form. The features of her face are delicately formed giving her an elegant, life-like quality...

A rear authentic Chinese Tang Tomb Guardian with beautiful sancai glaze. Chinese believed that there were evil creatures underground and had these type of guardians to protect the tombs. Size: 74cm X 28cm. Condition: In its original state. Some minor repairs but not totally reconstructed.

A nice Song brownish-black glazed wine receptacle with still some sticky remains of the sweet rice wine that was placed in it. Over 1,000 years old. Size: H. 20.6cm. W. 18cm. Condition: No repairs or chips.

A very rare Jin Dynasty Greenware jar with three lugs typical of that era. The green glaze going two thirds of the way down the vase. The inside is glazed also. Comes with a certificate from the Chinese Government Auction House. Size H. 47 cm. Condition: Very nice glaze. No repairs. A fine kiln crack around the bottom unglazed area that does not go through the inside.

A very rare large white Chinese vase. Very difficult to find an original white vase like this. The production of white glazed wares was not very large, yet their quality was generally rather high.This one has a symbol of a human figure painted inside most likely done by the those who owned the vase. Size: H. 84cm. W. 45cm. Condition: Perfect.

A very rare nicely moulded vase with a long ribbed neck that flares to a hexafoil rim. The hexagonal body is moulded with bands of flowers. The lower band has alternating patterns of lotus flowers and lotus leaves. There are two lion masks at opposite sides at the shoulder. The vase is covered in a light olive-grey glaze. Period: Yuan - 13th/14th Century Size: Height = 14.4 cm (5-11/16 inches) Condition: Tiny barely noticeable chip at the rim of the mouth otherwise perfect.

A very unusual & original Han well with the "jing" design, symbol for well and two intertwined snakes for the handle. There is some iridescence at the bottom of the base of the green glaze from age. Green glaze was used to make it look like bronze. Size: H. 30.5cm W.16cm. Condition: Very small repair on the underside of the rim, otherwise in very good condition. See photo.

A rare and authentic neolithic vase with a series of progressive painting of squares ending with four squares on the last panel. Age: 3500-2200 BC. Size: H. 31cm. W. 25cm. Condition: Very good except for a small repair at the mouth of the vase. See photo eleven.

A rare Mother and child Han Oil Lamp.The Mother is sitting and holding the hand of the child. The head piece was used for the oil holding the oil. Size: H. 26.8cm. W. 11cm. Condition: Most of the green glaze is gone and there is an old repair break around the head. See photos.

A beautiful large Han court lady with original pigment, standing and dressed in full robe with long swaggered sleeves and wide train. The head and hands have slots for inserting ornaments.The head is removable. Size H. 66cm. W. 25cm. Condition: No repairs.

A nice group of authentic Ming miniature glazed tomb items for taking into the next world. During the Shang Dynasty all the actual pieces were used and have been replaced with pottery figures from the original size to this size in the Ming Dynasty. Sizes: See photos. Condition: Very good.

A Ming statue of Quanyin glazed in cream, green and ochre glazes (san-ts'ai). The Guanyin is seated on a rock formation with lotus flowers above a rectangular pedestal. Formerly she was flanked by two disciples - there is one remaining but missing and the other is missing its head and hands...

An authentic Tang pottery horse and rider who is holding some kind of musical instrument. The horse and rider are covered with the remaining white slip that all original Tang pottery should have. An unusual Tang pottery of a standing dwarf wearing a robe and hat painted in original orange pigments. He has a stocky figure and a sweet countenance on his downward tilt head. He is full of character. Figures such as these are considered a symbol of good luck and are not easy to find.

An unusual and rare sancai-glazed miniature pottery figure of a dancing young man with a pointed black cap.

Size: 9.3 cm high

Condition: It has an old break in the right arm which has been reattached and hardly noticeable. (the original arm).

A medium size pottery figure of a female attendant from the Han Dynasty.This is an original Han piece. There still a good amount of the original white slip remaining. Size H. 26cm. Condition: No repairs or breaks. Small chip on the nose.

An nice authentic amber glazed Tang bowl stopping half way down the sides with a white slip.. Size: H. 12.5cm. W. 20.5cm. Condition: Very nice except for a faint crack on one side. It shows up much more in the photo.

A very rare large four scene Ming jar (1368 - 1644 AD) with three panels depicting the three friends and an additional panel of a small animal, the moon and a mountain scene. Size: H. 56cm. W. 38cm. Condition: No repairs. Some loss of the glaze around the rim. "For his residence, earth was piled to form a hill and a hundred plum trees, which along with lofty pines and tall bamboo comprise the friends of winter, were planted."

Blue and white export ware plate. There are four block-printed under glaze "crowns" around the edges of the plate with a brushed "fu" character in the center for prosperity, good fortune and wealth. Size: Diameter. 26.2 cm. Condition: No repairs.
