Chinese white nephrite jade of reclining dog with tail curled over its left haunch. Has some inclusions natural to the stone. Period: Early Ching (18th Century) Size: H = 1/2", Length = 2-1/8"

Large table top scholar's huanghuali chest with all it's original hardware. This is an early Ming piece as the huanghuali wood is quite thick. In later Ming pieces the wood was reduced in thickness as the huanghuali became scarcer. The hardware is typical early Ming. It is 100% original except for the inner tray that was probably added later. Size: L. 41.5cm. W. 24.6cm. H. 19.3cm. Condition: Normal ageing.

A rare unusual bronze mirror with two mythical animals that might be tigers. Age: Western Jin Dynasty - 265 - 316 AD. Size: Diameter - 9cm. Condition: No repairs. Natural aging with nice patina.

A well carved white jade of a Phoenix. The Phoenix representing the Empress as the Dragon represents the Emperor. Age: Late Ching. Size: H. 4.5cm. W. 3.5cm. Condition: Perfect.

An attractive white brass water pipe complete with all its parts (cleaning tools and original chain). Two surfaces of the square-shaped body have etched artwork of women reading in a garden surrounded by foliage. The remaining 2 surfaces have an etched poem about the scene. The calligraphy is particularly beautiful.

A Kutani Kaburagi lidded bowl painted with symbols of prosperity and longevity in multi-colored enamels and gold. The Golden Hammer (uchide-no-kozuchi) that serves as the handle for the lid, is the symbol of Daitoku, one of the 7 lucky gods. Legend has it, if you shake the hammer, it brings wealth. Around the outer bowl, there are storks (symbols of longevity) nestled inside stylized pine needle formations...

A very Large translucent pale blue-green glass earring from Southeast Asia, probably from Vietnam or Cambodia.The glass is in the form of a thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. There is some soil encrustation on the ends from being buried. Size: Diameter 8cm. Condition: Perfect.

A pair of mythical animals (mother and child) of a creamy jade color. It has small areas of natural brown, light orange and grey coloration and inclusions. The jade is beautifully carved and feels lovely to the touch. The curled tail of the smaller animal forms a round hole which enables a thin rope to be put through it. Absolutely endearing. Period: Early Ching (18th Century) Size: H = 1-3/4", W = 3-3/8"

A seated figure covering his eyes with both hands used in Tantric Buddhism believed to provide supernatural powers. This one is made of clay and has tracings of gold leaf. It is incased in a stainless steel case. Size: Outside the case. H.2.2cm. W. 2cm.

A wearable bronze ring from the post Angkor Wat period. Size: Inside diameter. 2 cm x 1.9 cm. Condition: No repairs.

A bronze official's seal with the Chinese characters meaning "natural" and "pure." The top of the seal has a seated rabbit with its long ears folded behind its head. The rabbit is well-formed and proportioned down to the details of the toes on its paws. Period: Western Jin Size: (Seal) 2.4 cm x 2.4 cm., Height = 2.7 cm. Condition: Very good.

A beautiful large blue & white charger painted in the style of early Yuan blue and white. The back of the charger has etched on it the name of a Temple that it once belonged to. Size: Diameter. 46.3 cm. W. 8.9cm. Condition: Perfect.

Mala Prayer beads from Lhasa with silver counters. I am not sure what the beads are made from but they are from Lhasa Tibet purchased over 15 years ago. Size: 50cm X 2.

A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. It probably had a lid. Age: 18th century. Size: H. 7cm. W. 11.7cm. Condition. No repairs. Some old minor chips on the rims.

A very rare and beautifully carved blackwood table. The carvings represent good luck symbols with key fret designs,lingzhi fungus, floral, tendril, and coins. The front and the back are a mirror images of each other, and the two sides also have mirror image carvings on both ends. The legs are straight and not curved as seen in the wide angle photo. Size: L.116 cm W.40 cm H.84 cm. Condition: Small age crack. See photo.

Large Tibetan wooden prayer beads from Lhasa with nine glass bead spacers and two leather counters with ten silver rings each ending with silver inlaid coral and turquoise, the wooden ones are made from the wood of the Bodhi tree where Buddha received his enlightenment. Total length 66cm. Condition: No repairs all original.
