A pewter plater with I think is American maker's mark. It's provenance is from a private collection in Philadelphia,Pa.many years ago, and at that I was told it was made by an American maker. It has the initials "AL"engraved in the back. Size: Diameter.21cm. Condition: No repairs.

A. H. Heisey & Company beautiful pressed glass pitcher with open work silver floral design on the rim. The bottom has the "H" maker's mark inclosed in a diamond shape. Age: Pre 1920. Size: H.23cm. Diameter at the base. 13cm. Condition: Almost mint. Some minor scratches on the bottom.

A Britannia metal coffee pot made by E. Stacy & Son, successors to John Vickers, Britannia Place, Sheffield. See stamp on the bottom of the pot. Britannia metal is an alloy that was invented by John Vickers to replace the expensive pewter in 1745. Britannia metal gradually started to replace pewter from about 1780. Size: H. 26cm. W. 20cm.
