A translucent nephrite jade "bi" of a very light cream color (off-white). Both the front and reverse are beautifully carved with the same design of a variety of "curl" designs. Period: (17th- 18th Century) Size: Outer Diameter = 2-1/4" Condition: Perfect. Color in photo has a blue tone but it is actually white.

A small, very rare nicely moulded vase with a long ribbed neck that flares to a hexafoil rim. The hexagonal body is moulded with bands of flowers. The lower band has alternating patterns of lotus flowers and lotus leaves. There are two lion masks at opposite sides at the shoulder. The vase is covered in a light olive-grey glaze. Period: Yuan - 13th/14th Century Size: Height = 14.4 cm (5-11/16 inches) Condition: Tiny barely noticeable chip at the rim of the mouth.

A nice lacquer screen mirror used by Scholars in their work tables. The mirror is surrounded by the usual key fret design while the base is carved with the auspicious melon, peony and peach, representing longevity and prosperity. Size: H. 62.5cm. A Rare large oval glass bead in shades of very pale blue to dark sky blue. Most of the front side of the bead has developed an intriguing beige patina. There are bi-toned (dark green & light blue) curvey line designs which are imbedded in the glass surface. The light blue line is now iridescent with age. The bead has two holes in the center for stringing.

Han Dynasty .

Size: Length = 5 cm, Width = 3.6 cm

Condition: Very good. Natural wear with age.

A pottery plate with a sansai-glazed inner and outer rim. The alternating and flowing green and ochre/brown glazes give beauty to the simple form of the plate. Under magnification, the glaze shows very fine crackle and the edge of the glaze is iridescent.

Period: Tang Dynasty(618 - 907 AD)

Size: Diameter = 23.2 cm (9-1/8 inches)

Condition: Good. No cracks or breaks. Has stacking spur marks from when it was fired. Has a small chip on the rim. (see photo).

A pottery figure of a court lady standing quietly erect with an upswept hairdo. Her hair, face and neck are left unglazed (except for some small impromptu splashes of amber glaze). Her elegant long robe is colored with an amber glaze.Comes with a certificate from a Chinese Government auction house.

A round, domed ceramic container with paintings of "a hundred boys." The background is off-white with the paintings of the rotund little boys at play in cobalt blue. The surface is heavily crazed. Kangxi seal mark.

Period: Ching Period 1662 - 1722 AD

Size: Height = 5.8 cm (2-1/4 inches, Diameter = 13.8 cm (5-7/16 inches)

Condition: The bottom has chips along the rim, possibly from trying to pry it open at one time. (see photos) The lid has no chips.
