A rimmed huanghuali brushpot with two rims, at the top and bottom of the pot. Age: 17th century. Size: H. 15.5cm. Diameter: 16.2cm. Condition: No repairs. Few dent on the the top rim. In it's original condition. It still has remnants of the original wax finish.

A heavy huanghuali brush pot from the Ming Dynasty. Brush pots from the Ming period are much heavier and use more huanghuali then in the Qing Dynasty. Size: H. 17cm. Diameter. 16cm. Condition: Minor old small repair on one side. See photo. Natural aging.

An unusual double headed silver dragon bracelet with both dragons chasing the elusive pearl connected by alternating bands of plain and textured links. Age: Mid 19th century. Size: Inside diameter. 6.5cm. Condition; No repairs. Normal wear.

Chinese white jade form of a kneeling boy beating a drum. Period: Ching (19th Century) Size: H=3", W=3-3/4" Condition: very good

A very unusual huanghuali brush pot with a natural grain design of a human figure. To me, it amazingly resembles the painting technique of the famous Norwegian artist "Edvard Munch" noted for his painting of the "Scream". Age: 18th Century. Size: H. 15.1cm. Diameter. 13.5cm. Condition. No repairs. Some small old chips around the rim.

Chinese white nephrite jade of reclining dog with tail curled over its left haunch. Has some inclusions natural to the stone. Period: Early Ching (18th Century) Size: H = 1/2", Length = 2-1/8"

A huanghuali wood brush pot with nice grain. The bands at the top and bottom are in relief (the body being smoothly carved down to create the relief).

An unusual stone weight with a young boy riding a foo dog. The corners each have little foo dogs playing with their ball. The base has a key fret design. This is a very special weight and unique in it's design. It is my understanding that these weights were used in making paper. Size: W. 31.5 x 23cm. H. 19cm. Condition: No repairs or chips.

Four gilded wooden statues comprising of two Buddhas,a Disciple and a Monk. Sizes: Length, 9.4 to 7.6 cm. Condition: Perfect.

A charming brushpot inlaid with mother-of-pearl, ivory and hardstones. The inlay work is of branch with flowering plum blossoms. The back has a poem of archaic Chinese characters inlaid in silver. The wood is a dark hardwood (unidentified) of a slightly reddish tint.
