A nicely carved mythical beast or cute animal in the recumbent position. There is a hole through the mouth for hanging. As for the age, I will date it as a Song piece, but it could also be from the Southern & Northern Dynasties. It is hard to date jade as many Dynasties copied from past dynasties. Size: L. 5cm. W. 2cm. H. 2cm.
Condition: No chips or repairs.

A well carved Carnelian mini frog from the Pyu era. The frog being the symbol for good luck or prosperity and is often found in Pyu carvings. This one does not have a hole drilled through it. Size: See last photo. Condition: Fine. No chips.

A well carved jade frog that can be used as a pendant. Actually is was worn on the belt.It has two holes under the chin that do not go all the through. It probably had some metal clip attached to it. The color is a little lighter then appears in the photos. Age: Early 19th or late 18th century. Size: L.5cm. W.3cm. Condition: no chips or repairs. Nice smooth finish from being fingered a lot.

A bamboo brush pot carved in relief of a sage in contemplation wearing a flowing robe surrounded by nature - the hills are carved in relief while trees, grasses and flowers are etched around him. To his right side is a feather fan. There is a signed poem about his feather fan inscribed to the left of the carvings. It is a serene, well proportioned, beautifully carved piece.

A nicely carved jade pendant with an unusual shape copying the Western Zhou style. Lots of intricate carving on this piece. This is most likely an old jade but I can't date it. Size: W. 8.2cm. H.4.2cm. Condition: No breaks or repairs. Some wear.

A round-bodied tripod bronze censor decorated with protruding lion heads at opposite sides (the rings in the mouth are no longer present). The censer is heavy, well made and has the Ming imperial seal (Xuande) on the underside and is probably not of the period.
