A very rare an unique large aquamarine pendant from the Pyu period 100 to 500AD. The gem has a hand drilled hole through the center to attach the gold rod. You can see in the photos, which I used back lighting to show the drilling, how painstakingly it must have been to drill through the gem. It is hardly noticeably when wearing it. The surface of the gem has smooth carvings of a floral design on both sides. The gold is probably from a later date. Condition: perfect. Size: See last photo....
