A nice stout wine jug with two handles at the wide shoulders. The two handles have deliberate cuts at the tops, probably to tie rope for securing the stopper. The brownish black glaze covers the jar to about 2.5 cm from the bottom.

n unusual pottery water dropper (scholar's object) in the form of a three-legged frog. The frog has a sansai glaze of a basic straw-colored glaze with drippings of yellow and green glazes. This water dropper was made with a hole in its back for placing the thumb to regulate the flow of water from its mouth. In Chinese mythology the three-legged frog usually lives on the moon and brings good fortune.
