This type of flag were the first ones made in the nation's history for private use.It is a private yacht design made between 1890 until 1926.The flag is made of wool bunting, sewn with a lineal machine stitch. A long-necked bronze vase with a rounded body. The top of the slender neck has a ring midway and swells out at the mouth in the shape of a garlic bulb, giving the vase its special name. It has a nice aging patina. It can be cleaned but I wouldn't recommend it.
