An unusual bone handle dagger decorated with a turquoise stone and silver a copper fittings. The sheath is made of silver with a woven silver chain attached to the knife. There is piece of "stingray skin" wrapped around the middle. There is one turquoise stone decorating the sheath with two red (resin) stones that originally were red coral.The blade is made of steel. A natural amber snuff bottle carved with a Phoenix on one side with floral design and the other side with a bat and a holy man in prayer. Age: Late 19th century. Size: H. 5cm. W. 3cm. Condition: No repairs.

A votive portable prayer altar with a bronze botisattva on the front, in relief, sitting on a lotus pedestal. it is surrounded by incised leaf and flower patterns. Inside is a statue of Buddha and there are two prayer sheets (one hand printed and one block printed).

A nice well made Tibetan prayer beads consisting of 108 bone beads and three pink mountain coral. Two leather counters with ten silver rings each ending with silver inlaid with coral and turquoise. The bone is most likely yak but could also be human. Size:Total length of the necklace 52cm. Each bead is 1.2-1.3 cm in diameter. Condition: No repairs. All original.

A small, very rare nicely moulded vase with a long ribbed neck that flares to a hexafoil rim. The hexagonal body is moulded with bands of flowers. The lower band has alternating patterns of lotus flowers and lotus leaves. There are two lion masks at opposite sides at the shoulder. The vase is covered in a light olive-grey glaze. Period: Yuan - 13th/14th Century Size: Height = 14.4 cm (5-11/16 inches) Condition: Tiny barely noticeable chip at the rim of the mouth.

A seated bronze figure of Buddha in the earth-touching gesture. The Buddha sits on a platform with openwork scroll patterns. The face is round with facial features done in an free and unusual manner that give a tranquil, meditative expression.

Period: Burma 17th/18th Century

Condition: Good. There is a tubular opening at the back of the platform perhaps for a canopy.

A pear-shaped vase freely painted with foliate designs in a dark chocolate brown glaze over a white slip. The slightly flared footrim is also painted in dark chocolate brown. Period: Song (10th - 12th Century) Size: Height = 22.5 cm (8-7/8") Condition: A small chip at the footrim. A normal glaze separation also at the footrim.

An unusual white type of stone pendant with various colors in the stone carved in a most interesting way. There are two old beads with the stone,the red one Ming and the other Tang. Age: Han Dynasty - 206BC - 220 AD. Size: L. 4cm. W. 3cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs or cracks.

Large Tibetan wooden prayer beads from Lhasa with nine glass bead spacers and two leather counters with ten silver rings each ending with silver inlaid coral and turquoise, the wooden ones are made from the wood of the Bodhi tree where Buddha received his enlightenment. A nicely shaped plate with floral design with bat and peach motif painted on the underside for good luck. Nonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nonyas, hence the term Nonya ware. Nonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: 19.5 x 13.5cm. Condition: No repairs.
