A unusual Song Dynasty bronze mirror with three mythical animals. Could be Lions or rats. The lion represents the "Guardian" and the rat represents "Prosperity". Size: Diameter 10.4cm. Condition: No repairs.

A nice Nonya plate with a painting of an old Sage and a poem centered around him. The poem says he is ninety years old and is about all his hardships. The Sage is surrounded by a floral design and the back has paintings of peaches and bats symbols of good luck and prosperity.Nonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nonyas, hence the term Nonya ware...

An unusual Burmese reddish gilded Buddha in the sitting position with a fancy head piece. Size: H. 12.8cm. Base.7.4cm. Condition: Nice patina. No repairs. A separation on one side of the base. See photos.

A Green glazed pair of Foo Lions joss stick holders from the Ming Dynasty. Joss sticks are incense on sticks and burned in religious ceremonies usually placed along side of Buddha. Size: H. 13.2cm. Condition: No repairs. Some minor small chips due to age.

A very unusual & original Han well with the "jing" design, symbol for well and two intertwined snakes for the handle. There is some iridescence at the bottom of the base of the green glaze. Size: H. 30.5cm W.16cm. Condition: Very small repair on the underside of the rim, otherwise in very good condition. See photo.

A bronze figure of Buddha standing on a platform that flares outward at the bottom. It is an interesting piece. The facial features are simple - almost primitiveness in nature but charmingly expressive. Period: 14th Century Tibet Size: Height = 10.2 cm Condition: Protruding features have some wear. Has a nice patina which, under magnification, reveals that it had originally been lacquered and gilded.

Large Tibetan wooden prayer beads from Lhasa with nine glass bead spacers and two leather counters with ten silver rings each ending with silver inlaid coral and turquoise, the wooden ones are made from the wood of the Bodhi tree where Buddha received his enlightenment. Total length 78cm. Condition: No repairs

An ornate silver betel box with open-work patterns of curling tendrils. The body and lid each have five panels with high relief work depicting 10 different scenes of ancient Burma. (see photos) The top of the domed lid has a lotus blossom. The bottom is hammered with the date and occasion for the piece.

This type of flag were the first ones made in the nation's history for private use.It is a private yacht design made between 1890 until 1926.The flag is made of wool bunting, sewn with a lineal machine stitch. The stars are cotton using the zigzag stitch so common in the 1890's. Size: Frame 130 x 76cm. Condition: Very good for this type as it was mostly flow outdoors on the yacht. See photos. A large Tibetan Temple prayer carpet with two dragons, each chasing it's elusive pearl. Size: L. 163 cm. W. 88cm. Condition. No repairs. Some wear.

Two ancient bronze "coins" shaped like small bowed knives. Both have encrustation on the bronze of varied coloration including that of a a blue-green malachite color. Period: Shang Dynasty (1600-1028 BC) Sizes: One is 14.5 cm long. The other is 17.7 cm long. Condition: The coins have natural wear and small chips to their rims and encrustation due to age. Nice patina. Would make an interesting addition to any coin collection.
