An ornate silver betel box with open-work patterns of curling tendrils. The body and lid each have five panels with high relief work depicting 10 different scenes of ancient Burma. (see photos) The top of the domed lid has a lotus blossom. The bottom is hammered with the date and occasion for the piece. Period: Early 1900's.
