A beautiful 14k Gold cased pocket watch. Dial plate marked: 'A.W.W.Co. Waltham Mass' - 1906. Movement marked; 9586904 - Safety Barrel- American Waltham USA - Traveler. Back cover and dome marked: Inscription "Souvenir 1881-11nov.-1906. The inside back cover "R.H. & v. J. The watch is not running, the balance wheel and hair spring look perfectly fine, it is not loose or wobbly. If you give the balance wheel a flick, the watch will tick a few times. It's probably over wound and just needs a service. Dial is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Gold case is very good with only a few dents. All Hinges and clasps are also very good. Watch measures 4.6 cm across, not including the crown. A fantastic watch, a real addition to any old watch collection. |
