Offered here is a fine old, 19th century carving of a seated Queen. She is sitting ion what must be some type of throne. In her right hand she holds a fan and in her left hand holds what appears to be a string of pearls or some other precious stone. The figure measures 4.25" in height, 1.12" wide and 1.75" deep. Offered here is a nice old Japanese Okimono carving of a Deity. The Okimono appears to be carved from the end of a tusk. The base is of "walrus" ivory, which may also be the origin of the hollow tusk piece. The base and upper portion of the okimono measure 4.5" in height, 2.25"wide and 1.38" deep. The base is signed. Offered here a an Ivory statue of Hiruko, the guardian of Fishermen and people who go to sea. This is essentially the same guardian as Ebisu in Chinese mythology. The okimono is signed. Offered here is a gorgeous Peking Glass Snuff Bottle with royal blue figures on a milk glass base.One side of the SB depicts Ducks swimming amid various lily pads and other water plants.The opposite side depicts a Butterfly flying among flowers. Offered for sale is this fine 19th century Snuff Bottle with a four character Ch'ien - Lung mark. The SB is decorated with a fierce five claw Dragon and what appears to be a Phoenix Bird flying among the clouds. The Dragon is rendered in a Coral red . The subject matter is a Peacock with his tail fully spread and showing a complete color range of a golden yellow to a soft amber. Offered here is this beautifully carved 19th Century Amber color Peking Glass Snuff Bottle. The SB is carved with eight (8) panels beginning slightly below the neck and terminating into a small sphere at the bottom. Randomly spaced around the shoulder of the SB are vines and gourds. Although well hollowed this SB weighs in at a whopping 145 grams (4.5 oz). The SB measures 2.07" in diameter and 3.0" in height including the Cap.The workmanship is excellent. Offered here is an antique Henan Vase/Jar in the style of the Northern Song/Jin dynasties. This Vase/Jar carries an embossed stamp, applied by the Chinese government, designating this piece as an antique that is over 100 years old.
