Offered for sale is this beautifully carved Zitan Brushpot; carved in tree form. The Brushpot is Circa 19th century. The BP is very heavy; weighing a whopping 1610 grams. It measures 6.13 inches in height, 5.19 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep. The scene depicts an Immortal looking on as two young boys play with what appear to be vines or ropes hanging from the branches of a pine tree. The top rim appears to have a small filled crack and the bottom has a tiny (1/4") hair line...
