| Circa 1910. Montieres stoneware vase with iridescent glaze, sculpted leaves and fruit. Art Nouveau form with an asymetrical, organic shape to the mouth and body, and a beautiful glaze whose color shifts from deep red to green. "Montieres" is painted in the glaze on the side of the vase. Very fine condition, with half a dozen small chips (a quarter-inch or smaller) on the base that may have occurred in the making. Scattered tiny burst bubles, light rubbing on one high spot. No cracks or restorations. About 19.1 cm (7.5 in). | ||
