Amazing and probably unique vase from the Cristallerie de Pantin; French, c1915. This is so atypical for Pantin that it almost has to be an exhibition piece. This large vase measures approx. 10" high by 9" wide and is hand-decorated with a frieze of pheasants among iris plants, against a chipped-ice background.
Mint condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage to the enamel. Signed to underside with the Pantin STV&C (Stumpf, Touvier, Viollet & Cie) marking in gilt. |
