Very rare cameo glass vase with mythological decoration by the firm of Daum Nancy; French, c1890. Vase is mouth-blown of mottled orange glass and cameo cut and enameled with the Greek mythological characters of Amphitrite and a Hippocamp.
Measures approx. 7.5" high and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Signed to underside with enameled 'Daum Nancy' and the cross of Lorraine signature. |
