This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by KPM or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in the 1890s. The set is marked with the blue scepter underglaze and the red orb with cross overglaze indicating the porcelain and the painting took place at the factory. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The cup has a quatrefoil shape and the saucer has molded ridges that follow the contours of the cup. The set is made of fine, translucent hard paste porcelain. The cup has high quality miniature painting of young lovers in period dress pictured on both pieces. Delicate filigree gilding trims the borders and there are additional gold accents on the rims and handle. This cup and saucer is very desirable in beauty and quality. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. It is unsigned other than some hand painted numbers. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The Japanese-style hand enameling is exquisitely executed. The raised enamel peonies are outlined with gold in an almost tapestry-like fashion. There are bands of gold beading and gold filigree trim just inside the rim of the cup and around the well of the saucer. The handle is distinctly European. The little crimped edges on the saucer are similar to the Haviland Limoges Ransom blank. This chocolate cup and saucer is delightful to touch and see. Condition: Excellent

These porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges in the late 19th century. We are showing 2 sets, one rose colored and one blue. You may purchase one or the pair. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 1/2 inches high. The fine, thin porcelain has molded ribs and the cups feature ribbon shaped handles. They are decorated with factory transfer designs. Rows of tiny roses or forget-me-nots encircle each piece. They have delicate gold filigree trim, lovely gold medallions on the saucers and shiny gold bands accenting the rims. The brightly colored enamel bands are most attractive. These cups and saucers are quite unusual for Haviland. They are highly decorative and you will enjoy using them, too. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain bottle was produced in Berlin by FA Schumann between 1850 and 1869.  The bottle measures 6 inches high and 3 5/8 inches by 3 1/8 inches at the bottom. The porcelain is molded with scrolls and shells.  There are two finely hand painted landscapes.  They are both identified.  One is a church in Bulha. Buhla is a municipality in the district of Eichsfeld in Thuringia, Germany.  We did not identify the other scene. The side panels have intricate gilded decorations.  There is history and old world charm in this antique porcelain bottle.  It will make a great conversation piece and display beautifully. This porcelain 3 piece coffee cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in England in the mid 19th century.  It is unmarked with only hand painted pattern numbers on the underside of each piece.  The plate has a diameter of 7 inches, the saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high.  The cup has a comfortable ring handle.  The set has a cobalt blue ground color.  There are gilded medallions containing hand painted pink roses.  Elaborate, hand painted decoration contrasts beautifully against the deep cobalt.  Bands of embossed gold encircle each piece.  The Victorian style and fine bone china is evidence of an excellent manufacturer such as Brownfields or Bodley.  This set will enhance the enjoyment of your favorite coffee. Condition:  Excellent  

These 10 porcelain double handled cups and saucers were produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden decorating studio in the 1890s. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. There are Rococo style molded designs in the delicate, translucent porcelain. The handles are also done in that ornate fashion. Each piece is beautifully hand painted with pastoral scenes of young lovers in gardens. There are two scenes on each piece as well as lovely floral arrays. They have elaborate gilded trim and accents on the handles and rims. These charming cups and saucers would have been used for cream soup or bouillon, but with a little imagination, you could use them for fruit or your favorite dessert. Only five are pictured but the set consists of 10 cups and saucers. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1750. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high and the diameter is 3 1/2 inches. The edges have little points and scallops. The cup has a split twisted branch handle. Both pieces are hand painted with realistic fruit in vibrant colors. There is gold filigree trim on the rims. Condition: Excellent. It is common to have little nicks on the foot rings and some traces of wear to the gilding and paint, especially on 250 year old porcelain. There is nothing that detracts from this rare antique porcelain cup and saucer.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1880 and 1904. The porcelain is very translucent and has designs that are molded into it. The cup has a fancy molded handle and a little pedestal. The rims have irregular, scalloped edges. The set is hand painted with gilded flowers and foliage that flows across the surface. The interior of the cup has a high gloss finish, different from the exterior. This set was produced and decorated at the factory. It is a lovely example of Willets Belleek. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in the US by the Ceramic Arts Company Belleek, later known as Lenox, between 1889 and 1896. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is extremely thin and is molded with a surface similar to a golf ball. The cup has a cute ring handle and little ball feet. The porcelain has an ivory hue. It is hand decorated with trailing vines and flowers painted in raised gold enamel. This cup and saucer is a fine collector’s piece with unique design. Condition: Excellent

The set has an unusual shape with multiple panels. Floral panels alternate with scenic ones. The scenes with figures are colorfully hand painted. The floral panels have bright bouquets with gold backgrounds. There is lacy gold trim and tiny floral buds dotting the interior of the cup. This cup and saucer has fantastic detail and uncommon beauty. Condition: Excellent

The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. There is a cartouche on the front of the cup that has hand painted exotic birds. There are rings of cornflowers and bands of gilding. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Brownfields in 1881. The name of the company is impressed in the porcelain and there is a registry mark giving the precise date the cup and saucer was produced. The saucer measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. There are alternating panels of hand painted fruits and textured burgundy red. The fruits are painted in raised silver and gold enamels. There are gilded accents and trim on both pieces. The style is distinctively aesthetic. Condition: There is a trace of wear to the gilding around the well of the saucer. There is one tiny white spot on a raised dot on the saucer. Overall, the set is in very good condition.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucer measures 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. It is similar to what is known as a 4 o’clock tea size made by the French Limoges companies. The cup has 8 ribbed panels coordinating with the scalloped panels on the saucer. All of the panels are hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. Intricate gilded bands frame the decoration with a gilded medallion finishing off the center of the saucer. The detailed composition of this cup and saucer is a joy to behold. Condition: Excellent

The interior of the cup and the handle are gilded. The sparse decoration accentuates the straight lines of the porcelain giving the set a sense of elegance.
