This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Copelands in the 1890s. The saucer is 4 3/4 inches square and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set is made of fine, translucent bone china. The cup and saucer are square in shape with rounded edges. The ground color is cobalt blue. The decoration is of ornate patterns in raised and beaded gilding overlaying the cobalt ground. There is dentil gold trim on the rims and gilding on the handle. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Minton in 1853. There is a date cipher that indicates this year. The saucer measures 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, translucent, white bone china. It is decorated with bands of celeste blue, often used by the Sevres factory. These bands are accented with vines of raised gold. There are garlands of colorful hand painted flowers draped across each piece. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent original condition. There are just a couple of specks in the glaze inside the cup occurring in manufacture.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Copeland in 1877. The plates were made especially for the retailer, Davis & Collimore, of New York. The diameter of these plates is 9 1/2 inches. They have an intriguing octagonal shape. The borders are molded with designs of Asian influence. The centers are hand painted with brightly colored exotic birds. The borders are trimmed with gold and colored enamel imitating jewels. The scalloped edges are trimmed with gold. The design of these plates is classic and the quality of the workmanship is incomparable. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain bowl was produced in England by Spode, c. 1805. The pattern was the inspiration of Spode around that period. The bowl has a diameter of 9 1/4 inches and is 2 inches deep. It has a 1 1/4 inch rim around the edge. The decoration is richly hand painted in vibrant colors. The design is taken from the Asian influence and you can even see that the back is painted with Canton style. The bowl has this elaborate design done in four colors and gilded accents. The rim is trimmed with heavy gilding. This is a stunning piece for display you would be proud to own. Condition: Excellent with the most insignificant trace of rubbing to some of the paint. We mention it to be precise.

There are no other imperfections. Note: The spots in some of the photos are not imperfections in the cup and saucer but result from the photography.

This porcelain sucrier or sugar bowl with lid was produced in England between 1790 and 1810. It may have been made by Chamberlain Worcester as it matches the tea pot and stand we are also selling. It is 5 1/4 inches long and 5 1/4 inches high, including the lid. The porcelain has a grayish hue. It has molded ribs in the porcelain and ring handles to the sides. The edges of the lid and bottom have cobalt blue borders that are elaborately gilded. There are tiny acorns and leaves as well as some floral designs. Tiny gilded sprigs dot the body. It is a splendid piece. Condition: There is a tiny nick on the edge of the lid that is gilded over. We do not know if it was done at the factory. It has very little wear to the gilding. It is almost excellent considering its age.

This porcelain tea pot with stand was produced in England around 1790 to 1810. We had seen a similar pot identified as Chamberlain Worcester. There are no marks or numbers to identify it. The pot measures 10 inches from the handle to the spout and approximately 6 inches high, including the lid. The porcelain has a grayish hue. The pot has molded ribs with a C shaped scrolled handle. The borders of the pot and stand are cobalt blue. They are finely gilded with what appears to be acorns and leaves. There are tiny gilded sprigs scattered around each piece. It is a very handsome piece. Condition: There is minor rubbing and wear to the gilding on the pot and edges of the stand. There are no chips or cracks. It is very nearly excellent considering its age.
